Over the years Levi’s has done one amazing thing other than make great jeans. They put the great jeans in your hands.
These aren’t your mothers and fathers jeans anymore, well they are but they can be yours also. Levi’s “Original” campaigns always targeted the right people every decade. YOU, the young, creative, ambitious and revolutionary YOUTH.
They create a brand loyalty that is truly for a life time. I am sure your parents wear Levi’s because they were targeted once in their youth. Last year, Levi’s 2011 “Go Forth” which truly inspired me to grow a beard for 4 months and look like a lumber jack. There is something about these monologues feel like a battle cry. It awakens something in you that probably the founders of this great nation once felt. You want to take control over your life, to make a stand, to be a revolutionist.
Here in New York there is a progressive change in fashion. No one wants to wear just T-shirts but a button up and they want tailored everything. The young Entrepreneur is uniform is denim now and a button up, they are riding their bikes or skateboards uptown to downtown, meeting new people and leaving lasting impressions with their body language. Levi’s took notice of all this and it is reflected by their landing page image [here].
Levi’s has left a mark in Urban/Street wear, making quality Nike SB that sneaker heads went crazy over [here] and collaborating with Supreme as they have numerous times to make some great fashion, like their Fall/Winter Capsule Collection. [here].
So “Go Forth” and take charge, be original. Our country was built by men in suits.
